What is Computers For Kids?

Connect Arkansas received federal stimulus dollars to increase awareness and education of broadband Internet and high speed Internet use in education in Arkansas. One way of accomplishing this is by providing low-cost, refurbished computers for school children in Arkansas who do not currently have access to a computer in their home. Connect Arkansas hopes these computers will help emphasize the importance of Internet in education.

How many computers do you have available?

Connect Arkansas has a limited supply of refurbished computers for sale in each of 57 counties in Arkansas in which Connect was funded to operate.

How will the computers be distributed?

Computers will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. All of our computers for school children are Internet ready, have been refurbished, and are in like-new condition. Purchaser will be responsible for shipping & handling and all applicable taxes.
